Welcome to Fukuoka Fishing Adventures where great fishing is just in our backyard. We are a group of anglers who fish for various types of fish all in the Fukuoka area. We mostly target seabass, seabream, small whiting (kissu) and big yellowtail. How to Kissu fish

When summer approaches bringing those summer doldrums a small silver fish called the kissu makes themselves commonly found around beaches, harbors and bays. Since Japan is simply covered with these types of environments fishing for these oishi fish is a great way to spend a day on the beach with family and friends. Kids can easily master how to catch some and it will certainly bring a smile to their faces. As we all know young ones are easily bored if there are no fish being caught and they will soon develop a non interest in sport fishing. So this type of action is great for their self confidence........remember it's not the size that counts for kids it's just the fun in catching them.

Well the season for seabass how finally come to an end. What a season is was for me. I must of caught about 40 or more seabass this year and it was truly one of my best seasons. My last few outings didn't produce any fish because the temperatures had dropped too low making seabassing hunting too difficult, essentially ending my season. Oh well I guess it's time for me to put the rods up, get things ready for next year and dream of the one that got away.

I will be joining a local group here in Fukuoka called the RMC group. (Regular Members Club) I will be able to attend club meetings, help in special functions, attend tournaments for free and just be able to hang out with the same kind of guys like me.

This Months Tackle Recommendation

Every Month we'll be adding a new product from Tsurishop-Japan. Look for products like jigs, lures, reels, lines and much more fishing tackle.

They have a unique 3-way action system allowing you to cater to how much action you want the lure to have. Put the snap swivel on the very left and it will have a slower action, the middle is a bit more and the very right will give the lure the most action possible.
