An Introduction to who we are......

Hello and welcome to Fukuoka Fishing Adventures, I hope you like fishing as much we do? I grew up fishing in Vancouver Canada and my passion for our scaly friends started at a very young age for me. I think, honestly I started when I was 2 years old on big old bullheads under docks and piers. Through the years my passion and keenness didn't stop. I progressed to trout, salmon, rock cod, bass and when I would travel to other countries my rods were never left behind. 

I've been living in Fukuoka for over 6 years now teaching English, enjoying the sites and am married to a wonderful Japanese wife. Recently we just had a new addition to our family, little Sage our boy. I'm sure over the years you will see him in my pictures as he learns how to fish from his father.

My obsession naturally progressed once I got here to Japan. In fact I realized that I had come to the land of fishing, truly Japan has fishing in it's blood. Since my arrival I have been  learning many techniques and some very interesting ways to catch fish. One thing I pride myself on is always learning new knots, new types of gear and just about anything to do with Japanese fishing.

The reason why we're doing these tours is because I've noticed that if you can't read or speak the language, know where to go or have the connections, fishing in Japan can be a troublesome place for the foreign angler. What our tours will offer is comfort, ease and hopefully some great fishing even if you're new to fishing!

Overall the last couple of years we have really learned when and where to go. F.F.A  truly wants to share it's adventures with anglers who have the same passion as we do. See you then and we look forward to fishing with you!
